Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
These Terms of Service govern your use of PawStatus, a mobile and web service operated by TechDog OÜ. By creating an account, accessing, or using PawStatus, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Important Notice.
If you do not agree, do not use PawStatus.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use PawStatus. If the law where you live requires a higher age or parental consent, you may use PawStatus only if those requirements are met.
3. The Service
PawStatus helps households coordinate everyday pet care through shared tasks, reminders, activity logs, user-entered care records, pet profiles, and uploaded documents.
PawStatus is provided for personal organization only. It is not a medical or veterinary device, diagnostic system, clinical monitoring service, emergency alert service, or substitute for professional veterinary care.
4. No Veterinary Advice
PawStatus does not provide veterinary advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, medication recommendations, dose guidance, health assessments, symptom interpretation, emergency monitoring, or clinical decisions.
Always consult a licensed veterinarian for medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, medication instructions, dosage questions, or urgent concerns about your pet.
5. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate account information
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access
- Not share your account with unauthorized individuals
6. Household Sharing
PawStatus allows you to invite household members or other trusted people to access shared pet information. Household members may be able to view, add, edit, or complete tasks and records depending on app functionality.
You are responsible for managing household membership and for ensuring that invited users are authorized to access shared pet information.
7. User-Entered Content
You retain ownership of information you enter into PawStatus. You grant TechDog OÜ the limited right to host, store, process, display, and transmit that information as needed to provide and improve the service.
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of all information you enter, including pet records, medication information, dosages, schedules, notes, photos, and documents.
Do not upload content you do not have the right to use, content that violates another person's rights, unlawful content, malicious files, or content unrelated to personal pet care organization.
8. Reminders and Notifications
Reminders and push notifications are provided on a best-effort basis. They may be delayed, fail to deliver, or be missed for technical or device-related reasons.
Do not rely solely on PawStatus for time-critical care, medication, feeding, treatment, appointments, or emergency needs. You are responsible for maintaining backup reminders for important care tasks.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information. By using PawStatus, you acknowledge that your information will be processed as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Subscriptions and Payments
PawStatus requires a paid monthly subscription to use the app. Prices, features, trial periods, renewal terms, and cancellation options will be shown before purchase.
Purchases made through Apple App Store or Google Play are handled by the applicable app store. Subscription cancellation and refund requests may need to be managed through the app store where the purchase was made.
11. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Misuse PawStatus or use it for unlawful purposes
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, households, data, or systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
- Upload malware, malicious files, or harmful code
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority
- Abuse invite links or household sharing features
- Reverse engineer the app except where law permits
12. Third-Party Services
PawStatus may rely on third-party services for hosting, authentication, push notifications, payments, subscriptions, storage, analytics, error logging, or app distribution. We are not responsible for third-party services except as required by applicable law.
13. Changes to the Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of PawStatus. We will try to provide reasonable notice when changes materially affect users, but we may make immediate changes for security, legal, or operational reasons.
14. Termination
You may stop using PawStatus at any time and may request account deletion through the app or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users, or misuse the service.
15. Disclaimers
PawStatus is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer protection law.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TechDog OÜ and PawStatus are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including:
- Loss of data
- Service interruption
- Missed reminders or missed care tasks
- Incorrect user-entered data
- Household misuse or unauthorized household access
- Harm to any animal
- Reliance on PawStatus as a substitute for professional veterinary care
Our total liability for claims relating to PawStatus will not exceed the amount you paid for PawStatus in the 12 months before the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
