Terms of Service

By using PawStatus ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using PawStatus, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Important Notice. You must be at least 16 years old to use PawStatus.

2. Description of Service

PawStatus is a pet care coordination platform that allows household members to track feeding schedules, medication reminders, pet care records, and daily care activities for their pets. The App is not a veterinary medical device and should not be used as a substitute for professional veterinary care.

3. User Accounts & Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Not share your account with unauthorized individuals
  • Ensure all data you enter (medication dosages, schedules, care records) is accurate

Household members you invite will have access to your shared pet data. You are responsible for managing household membership.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
  • Impersonate another user or person

5. Intellectual Property

PawStatus and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by PawStatus and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. Your data remains yours. We do not claim ownership of the pet care information you enter.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PAWSTATUS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of or harm to any animal
  • Missed medications or care tasks due to notification failures
  • Inaccurate data entry by users
  • Service interruptions or data loss
  • Any reliance on the App as a sole source of pet care coordination

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to PawStatus at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
