Not a Veterinary or Medical Tool
PawStatus is a household pet care coordination and record-keeping app. It helps users organize user-entered tasks, reminders, notes, documents, and activity logs.
PawStatus is not a medical device, veterinary device, diagnostic tool, clinical monitoring system, emergency alert system, or substitute for professional veterinary care.
PawStatus does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, monitor, assess, or provide advice for any disease, condition, symptom, injury, medication, dosage, treatment, or emergency.
User-Entered Information Only
All records, reminders, notes, schedules, documents, and logs in PawStatus are entered by users or household members. PawStatus does not verify, validate, audit, interpret, review, or correct the information entered into the app.
Structured fields, templates, categories, dates, and reminders are provided only for personal organization. They do not constitute medical charting, clinical data entry, veterinary assessment, or health monitoring.
No Veterinary Relationship
Using PawStatus does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship. PawStatus is not operated by a veterinary practice and is not a licensed veterinary service.
Always consult a licensed veterinarian for medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, medication instructions, dosage questions, or concerns about your pet.
Medication and Care Reminders
Medication, feeding, appointment, and care reminders are based only on information entered by users. PawStatus does not confirm whether a medication, dosage, schedule, or instruction is correct or appropriate.
Notifications may be delayed, fail to deliver, or be missed due to device settings, operating system restrictions, network issues, server outages, app updates, battery settings, or other technical reasons.
Never rely solely on PawStatus for time-critical medication, feeding, treatment, or care tasks. Keep independent backup reminders for important pet care responsibilities.
Emergencies
PawStatus is not designed for emergencies and does not monitor your pet for urgent or dangerous conditions.
If you believe your pet may need urgent care, contact a licensed veterinarian, emergency animal hospital, or local emergency service immediately. Do not delay seeking professional care because of information stored in or displayed by PawStatus.
Your Responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all information entered into PawStatus, including medication names, dosages, schedules, care records, appointment dates, and household activity logs.
You are also responsible for deciding who you invite to your household and what information they can view or enter.
Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PawStatus and TechDog OÜ are not responsible for harm, injury, illness, death, loss, missed care, missed reminders, incorrect user-entered data, household misuse, technical failures, or reliance on PawStatus as a substitute for professional veterinary care.
